ALERT; NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN  + REMINDER: South Street Bridge Closed!

The South Street Bridge is closed for demolition and total reconstruction, which is estimated to take two years. The entire bridge will be closed, from Convention Avenue and 27th Street, including the on-and-off ramps connecting South Street and I-76. South Street is one way westbound only.

NEW PATTERN: Civic Center Blvd. becomes one way, south west, away from the Museum, at the intersection with Convention Avenue, which is the stop light by the Penn Tower Hotel. When traveling toward the Museum on Convention Ave. after the turn off of University Avenue: you must take the first right, after the Hospital Parking Garage, onto Health Sciences Drive. This will intersect with Convention Avenue by the Penn Tower Garage, and will lead you to the Parking Garage by the Museum.  For more information on the South Street Bridge Closure, and the new traffic pattern, visit one of the following: find an excellent map on the directions page on the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeoogy and Antropology  Web Site: http://www.penn.museum/directions-and-parking.html or use the University of Pennsylvania South Street Bridge closing site:  http://www.publicsafety.upenn.edu/ssbridge/default.asp
